How to recover deleted files and folders?

EASEUS Partition Master provides Partition Recovery Wizard which can restore deleted files even emptied from the Recycle Bin. It can recover the deleted Word, Excel, PowerPoint, photo, email, database, and all other files in your hard drive.

Why can you recover deleted files?

When a file is deleted from your computer, its contents aren't immediately destroyed. Windows simply marks the hard drive space as being available for use by changing one character in the file table so that the file entry won't be displayed in My Computer or a command line DIR command, etc. If you manage to start an undelete process before new data is written onto the place, deleted files can be recovered.

How to recover deleted files and folders?

Note: For the FREE home edition users, it will take longer time to recover deleted files from existing partition because there is Partition Recovery module ONLY, which will scan the entire hard disk. EASEUS Partition Master commercial editions provide Complete Recovery module, which will take less time to recover deleted files than Partition Recovery module. The following steps illustrate how to recover files by the Complete Recovery module.

1. Run EASEUS Partition Master, click "Wizard" > "Partition Recovery Wizard".

2. Run "Complete Recovery" module, where you'll find all existing partitions on your hard disks, select the one you want to recover and click "Next".

Tips: If the volume does not have a drive letter, then the volume will be listed at the hindmost and the drive letter will be displayed as "*".

3. The Intelligent Search will scan the selected volume, collect and analyze every byte, then present a list of possible volumes.

4. Choose the first green partition or others with the same size of your original partitions. You can choose at most 4 partitions at the same time to recover.

5. After you selecting the partitions, "Building directory" will run automatically and then list a file/folder tree.

6. Select the file or directory. (The deleted files and folders are displayed as red "d" mark.)

7. Choose a path to save the files.
